Our services

Every massage at Holdfast is tailored to your needs. The session will begin with a brief conversation about how your body’s doing, what you’re looking for, and what techniques or modalities we’ll use.

Whether you're carrying stress from life, recovering from or preparing for your sport, managing chronic pain, or simply in need of deep relaxation, your session is built around what will help you feel better.

We understand that finding a therapist that works for you can be time consuming. To help you make that decision: the dominant style at Holdfast Bodyworks involves slow, deep pressure strokes. We supplement manual techniques with assisted stretching, heat, and gliding cupping when appropriate.

Meet Felim Taylor, LMT.

I’ve been practicing massage in Washington State since 2024, and I’ve been personally involved in the fitness world for over 1.5 decades. My fitness interests have included powerlifting, calisthenics, bodybuilding, and natural movement.

Bodies have always been fascinating to me so I chose to study massage after the big post-pandemic career shakeup. I studied at the Northwest Academy of Healing Arts in West Seattle, where I learned of the benefits of massage to mental and emotional wellbeing.

Praise for Holdfast

“Truly exceptional - one of the best I’ve experienced in years.”

Our Philosophy

We believe that the body is what bridges the gap between the material and the spiritual. Because of this high-traffic role it is susceptible to stressors both from within and from without, which can result in diminished physical function in the form of aches and pains, fascial adhesions, restricted movement, trigger points, and anything else we might call a “knot”.

We take a “body first” approach - recognizing that it is difficult to improve your mental or emotional state when the physical is dysfunctional. We aim to restore proper function to your body so that you can focus on using it effectively.
